RE: SocialFi Most creator monetization traps creators in the hamster wheel and attention games. What if creators could ‘ICO’ and have a clear, opt-in platform path to an M&A exit for their channel? (On top of traditional creator monetization incentives) I’d be interested in seeing account-level tokens, open markets (not bonding curves), participation-gated buyers, and built-in exits where supporters get paid if the channel chooses to sell. This incentivizes creators to build more durable content styles (which could mean more sustainable impact), it could incentivize people to buy what they believe in, and give creators the flexibility to launch only when they’re ready, without fear of hurting the community of holders as they experiment. This also gives creators a better, platform-native ‘way out’ of the attention hamsterwheel by normalizing exits with their audiences. SocialFi should reward belief, not just attention.
