So to Anyone wondering about the workings of @betonbangers , here's some main things explained by @pilou - Price of the shares are denominated in BANGER - Every second that passes since the Banger post creation, the price of 1 share increases by a defined constant amount. - There are some bonuses share to be grabbed - Bonus 1 : highest contributor reward (👑 emoji) - delivered to the user who contributes the most banger token to a given post. That bonus essentially offers a better unit price than the current unit price (act like if user bidded earlier) - Bonus 2 : last buyer reward (🚀 emoji) delivered to the last user who bet on a post gives 4x the shares actually purchased - user loses that bonus every time another user bid on that post - Bonus 3 : referral bonuses (🎁 emoji) : when you refer other users and they bid on a post, you (as a referrer) get to claim 10% of the shares that the user you referred purchased Next, an important point that will answer the above question. Everytime a user bet on a post, the flow rate distributed to all participants (every user who bet on that post) is recalculated. The formula is : « total contribution not yet streamed / 3 days ». This essentially means that the stream last 3 days starting from the last bet. If someone bet again, the 3 days timer is reset. This also means that if no one bets for 3 days, all the Banger token have been streamed to the banger post participants and therefore, the post is no longer yielding anything, and therefore is « stopped » (can no longer bet on it) If anyone has some more questions feel free to drop it in the comments.
