There won’t be an altseason. And here’s why.
- Let’s stop pretending a full-blown altseason is coming.
That 2021-style explosion of every low-cap memecoin doing a 100x?
It’s not just delayed.
It’s probably dead.
- What we have instead is a casino of low-liquidity tokens, no real buyers, and mercenary liquidity hopping from one narrative to the next.
This isn’t rotation.
It’s extraction.
- Altseason requires: Retail inflow/ Appetite for risk/ Confident exit strategies/ A regulatory blind spot. We have none of those.
- You want a real altseason?
We need regulation first.
Yes — regulation.
Only with a clear framework will capital feel safe to come back.
Only then can teams stop launching rug tokens and start building sustainable, investable assets.
- Until then, we’ll keep seeing: Twitter threads hyping “next $100M gem", Pumps that die in 4 hours, Airdrop dumpers, DEX volumes chasing ponzi charts
This isn’t altseason.
It’s survival season.
