Oh this is purely theoretical. I’m trying to understand if base wanted to build something on top of farcaster, would they ever be core contributors to farcaster protocol (and write back to the protocol as contributors) or would they just extend it purely into their app and not bring that functional benefit back to Farcaster

I meant like what if Base builds their own, better version of mini apps? They wouldn’t be contributing back to the protocol- or would you enable them to? So that you could get that benefit back in farcaster too. Maybe it’s not even on the table just thinking out loud

I'm guessing base app won't be contributing to the farcaster protocol itself though, right? It will leverage the protocol, but likely won't try to create new primitives that all of farcaster can benefit (example, their own version of miniapps)
