Crypto scams often leave liquidity along the way before an impulse move. Locally, small liquidity pools were taken, and there are still areas above — for BTC around $96–97K, which have been standing for quite a while, and for Cardano around $3180–3220, which recently formed.
Keep in mind that the market for BTC and ETH is technically messy from the daily to the hourly charts. Long positions have little choice but to play counter-trend setups.
