On March 13, 2025, the US Senate Banking Committee passed the (Guiding and Establishing the National Stablecoin Innovation Act) (GENIUS Act) with a vote of 18 to 6. If this bill is formally enacted, it could completely change the landscape of the cryptocurrency market and even lead to USDT being squeezed out of the market, affecting the capital security of billions of investors.
