On August 7, 2025, Taipei, Taiwan, in response to the recent devastating heavy rainfall in southern Taiwan, Binance, the world's largest virtual asset exchange by trading volume and registered users, today announced an airdrop of BNB worth up to $1.2 million (approximately NT$35 million) to Binance users in the most severely affected areas.
User identity will be determined based on the proof of address (POA) provided by users on Binance in the most impacted southern regions, including Changhua County/City, Yunlin County, Chiayi County/City, Tainan City, and Kaohsiung City.
