Sharing a classic egg cutting video with some caution! So many years ago, the rise of prominent snake breeders on YouTube led to lots of debate online over the ethics of snake egg cutting. I looked into it then and my understanding was that if done properly by a reputable breeder who is a trained reptile professional, it is safe and sometimes beneficial. That being said, I haven’t watched this content in a while and am not sure what the current best practices are! BUT it is really cool to see how the genetics play into the baby snake’s different appearances in a clutch and they are so cute 🫶🥹
