The Strange Immortality of Jellyfish
There is a species of jellyfish called Turritopsis dohrnii that can reverse its own life cycle.
When it is injured, stressed, or facing death, it can transform its adult cells back into a juvenile state and start life all over again.
Instead of dying, it essentially resets its biological clock.
In theory, this means the jellyfish could live forever unless it is eaten or killed by disease.
A rare case where immortality is not science fiction, but biology.
