Why Humans Glow in the Dark It sounds like science fiction, but humans actually emit light. Our bodies produce tiny amounts of visible light due to biochemical reactions inside our cells. When our cells generate energy, they release small particles of light called photons. The glow is extremely weak and invisible to the human eye, but sensitive cameras can detect it. So yes, every person is technically glowing all the time. We just can’t see it.
