Farcaster was briefly mentioned as the next big thing, almost becoming the next “Base moment.”
But before anyone noticed, it went quiet again.
In my opinion, the path to Farcaster’s revival is already clear — it needs to follow, or partner with, projects like Kaito or other InfoFi platforms.
Because right now, it feels like a place where people drop by out of curiosity… and then leave just as quickly.
Sure, doing so might flood the platform with ads, low-quality posts, and general chaos — but it would also drive traffic and attention, which is exactly what Farcaster needs.
Here’s the formula I see:
Perfect the Cast experience and feature updates first. (There’s only so far this can go, but it needs to be solid.)
Form partnerships or collabs with InfoFi ecosystems to bring people in.
Focus on mini-apps and wallet integration — the kind of things Twitter doesn’t have. That’s how you show your unique edge.
