Take on debt -> bet that money printing continues -> bet that the money goes into hard assets -> sell assets and pay for longevity medicine or move your now rich family to Thailand

the article shared expresses how chasing jackpots is the norm even though the expected outcome is 0. leverage and debt is jackpot chasing.

deciphering it as i go. less about tactics (eg what to buy) and more about how to approach the next decade. increasing flow to assets by meaningfully lowering burn and continuing to invest time and energy into becoming an expert $ manager.

I have heard it's only paranoia if it isn't rational. Being aware of an actual threat is not paranoia from my understanding. It is quite stressful though because less informed people don't even realize the risk.
