Many of you have probably read Animal Farm by George Orwell.
A simple yet profound novel that holds powerful lessons about authority, justice, and awareness.
“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”🤷♂️
This famous quote from the book captures the bitter truth behind the story.
The animals of a farm rise up against the oppression of humans in hopes of building a more just world.
At first, everything is based on equality and fairness, but gradually, the pigs ,who had taken leadership of the revolution ,begin walking the same path they once called unjust.
They wear human clothes, walk on two legs, and even sit and negotiate with the very humans they once overthrew…
Until, eventually, there is no difference left between the oppressor and the revolutionary.
This book is full of signs and silent warnings that make the reader reflect, to the point where one constantly wonders: which words truly mean something, and which are just slogans?
Through symbolic language, Orwell shows us how power, when left unchecked in a society lacking awareness, can destroy all the ideals people once believed in.
When action is replaced by empty words, equality becomes nothing more than a hollow phrase.
And power, if not controlled, will inevitably turn into a tool of deception.
In the end, without awareness, freedom is easily lost.🧠 19 replies
