Three months ago, we released the Whitehat Safe Harbor Agreement, a legal framework to protect whitehats who intercept and return funds. One of the most common questions we got was, "what happens if someone threatens to sue me anyways"?

Under this partnership, the SRLDF will also award grants for legal fees to whitehats who conduct good-faith research under the Safe Harbor Agreement. We hope this serves as an additional deterrent against frivolous lawsuits and gives whitehats additional peace of mind
