how do artists who work in "slower" mediums genuinely "compete" with artists who exclusively use generative AI? the scope and scale of being able to create hundreds or thousands of artworks is hard to even grasp

After a few months of a break from the series, I'm starting to finish the last 2 books in Dune I've heard so many negative things about the last 3 books but Im enjoying them quite a bit so far, goes to show how much expectations can colour out experience of storytelling or media
