The brain processes images in parallel but text serially. I'm very interested in bringing the benefits of visual computing into today's 2D interfaces (while the AR/VR space continues to evolve and mature). Anyone have pointers to interesting systems that do some parts of this?

I’ve got similar issues. It occurred to me that - in a world of infinite digital resources - bring a great curator/editor is possibly more important than being a great writer. Like James Burke’s “Connections”, turning fragments into patterns of narrative essential to understanding.
