It's proving harder than I thought but I've been able to get some basic functionality going: - Basic RAG (locally) - Chat integration - Notepad + quote anchoring - Pinning chat answers to text Still a lot of work to do, I'll continue grinding, see where it goes.

So I decided to scratch everything I've done so far and rebuild the reading app as a native macOS app. The idea is that everything can be stored and run locally, including RAGing your documents, etc. For context, I am tinkering with the idea of a "cursor for reading", an app that multiplies how much you learn and get out of your reading. I've never built a native app so not sure if I'll get away with it, let's see!
