⚡ lightning fast commentary on trends is interesting to me. but that requires someone tuned into pop culture or some other platform like tiktok. the kid singing is a great example. saw the video yesterday. already had tons of views and likes on tiktok already. coin gets created and chart shared this morning. The chart is often quite downstream of when a trend catches fire. I'm always surprised at how late people are talking about trends in crypto as if it's the hottest thing when people on tiktok are already onto something else. there's trending with normies and then there's trending with traders. that's what has made me feel like memecoins aren't mass appeal. the trend and the coin live in two different worlds. except for when the trend is a crypto meme. at least creator coins are creator-led vs trying to chase creators downstream of where the magic happens.
