BREAKING: Trump says the U.S. economy could grow up to 15% under Kevin Warsh’s leadership.
Trump called choosing Powell over Warsh in 2017 a “big mistake,” adding that the economy has massive upside potential if Warsh implements the policies he’s capable of delivering.
Trump is clearly hinting at lower interest rates and stronger liquidity support. He described Warsh as a “high-quality person” who could do an exceptional job if given the chance.
This marks the strongest signal so far that the next Fed leadership could shift toward a more growth-driven, liquidity-friendly stance.
