"We're building faster than we can design" is a sentiment I've heard from a lot of construction teams in data centers. The pressure for speed is driven by AI. And now I sense that software teams are starting to feel this with the proliferation of AI dev tools. I know we certainly do. When producing code is easier than figuring out what to build, how to build it, or even how to keep your harness in check then things can get chaotic.
