I think this is an INSANELY POWERFUL feature, but "collectible casts" isn't that interesting. But the auction primitive opens up a lot of doors. Want to gauge if people would pre-sign up for your product? Run an in feed auction. Want to sell your art? Sell it in the feed. Want to sell your time? Sell it in the feed. You're not collecting casts. You're selling stuff via a cast. If you want to build something like QR you can worry less about the auction mechanism because it's baked into the collect cast button (but I wouldn't call it this). I've had a ton of ideas to explore here but not enough time: - keep tab of who bids on a cast -> give access to something exclusive - NFT launchpad -> ERC721 is minted if auction threshold is crossed. All bidders get artwork. - office hours to highest bidder.
