Quick thoughts on the Horner news. Really tough to say right now why exactly they dropped him *mid* season. That's a big deal after everything he's helped them achieve over 20 years. Time will tell if this was a) to save Max b) because they lost Max c) Jos / Helmut coup d) allegations. Two other key personnel also departed today. Chief marketing officer Oliver Hughes and Group Director of Communications Paul Smith. Sus. Christian now knows what Danny Ric felt at Singapore. Sucks to be dropped mid season. Rooting for Mekies to shine as RB TP! He has after all been leading the more dominant RB team this season. Last year's silly season walked so this year's could run. Brace yourselves. This is the end of an era for RB.

I want to believe B for the drama but the Comms director loss maybe points to D + a subsequent mishandling. But a CMO feels like a bit of a wildcard in there

That's what I'm thinking. The CMS and Comms departures feel like they tried covering up / mishandled the Horner situation so they had to clean house. Fun to speculate!
