🆘Two snipers earned $1.3 million on the launch of the JESSE token When listing $jesse, two bots bought out more than half of the token's liquidity pool, and later earned $707.7 thousand and $619.6 thousand, respectively. One of the wallets bought $jesse for $67 ETH and paid over $44k in fees to get priority. In minutes, he turned 67 $ETH into 303$ETH. How did this become possible Flashblocks, introduced by Base in the summer, split a two-second block into a series of micro-blocks of 200 ms each. Bots see the publication of a token transaction in the first microblock and instantly send an order that gets into the next microblock within the same main block. This opens the way to "same-block sniping" without a private mempool. Twitter is outraged that disabling the API at the start worsened access to the contract for ordinary buyers, but did not prevent bots from sending transactions even before the CA was published. The token has fallen by almost 40% in a day and is trading with an FDV of about $177 thousand
