Colony Log: Day 12
It’s been quiet here for a while.
As expected, early colonies develop slowly.
The official strategy remains simple: disturb them as little as possible and pretend I have the patience of a serious scientist 🥹
But today it’s time for introductions.
Allow me to present the ruling administration.
Her Majesty: Queen Ekaterina Alexeyevna.
Her first three workers who arrived with her:
Grigory Potemkin
Grigory Orlov
Stanislaw Poniatowski
And we have a new citizen.

Please welcome the newest member of the empire:

Everyone looks healthy and reasonably active, and there is a cocoon developing… so fingers crossed we may soon welcome another worker.
Future planning is already underway.
The name for the colony’s first soldier has already been selected by my friend @growthrev :
Lord Francis Pickle Pudding of Wellington 🫡
Unfortunately soldiers only appear once the colony reaches at least 100–150 members, so His Lordship’s military career will have to wait.
Meanwhile I’m expecting a slightly larger incubator to arrive soon, because one day relocation will happen, and I intend to be prepared.
