That’s how I built Grittiest community (peak COVID 2020), inspired by eChai & SaaSBoomi, HeadStart, TiE Local chapters, Super Morpheus, and more serving founders authentically. My goal was to enable founders from 2nd/3rd-tier cities building Startups to get support in their journey to overcome challenges. By the end of 2020, it had supported 170+ founders. We generally forget ... The most loyal members often come from the margins, not the mainstream.

People often ask me what I’ve gained from being around communities and community creators. So much community? My biggest gain? 👉 The people... community creators Their trust. Their journeys. And the chance to count on them while they count on us. Even after decades of starting up, many still recognize my work: Explara. As I meet people, they share their stories.… Oh yes, I’ve come across Explara once, twice, a few times… and I felt the authenticity in how it was built, grown, struggled, and came back. IMHO, the credit doesn’t go to me. It goes to the community creators who used Explara for their work and gave us so much love in return.
