In the German Reich (founded 1871) the voting age is 25. Since turning 25 I realize how good of an age that is. You have a quarter century of life experiences, you're looking towards 30/40 more then back on 16/18 and are often out of that fun time, while still having a young spirit and able body. 1972 a century later the Federal Republic of Germany (BRD) lowered the voting age to 18 and now a days some discussions want it to be 16. Honestly I could have voted at 16 sure. But what ? I realize how good of an age 25 is when one reflects and has used the early years of adulthood to learn, study and get to know the world. I am starting to truely feel like I can write down what I think and have experienced a lot more to recognize patterns then my 16/18 year old me. I'll likely call my 25 year old self naive and say the same at 35, 50, 75. That's what "wisdom comes with age" likely refers to. Interesting to think though that we now think adulthood starts at 18 (21 in some places). And before the German Reich and those times it was 16 or earlier when you had to help on the fields or your parents died of illness or war. My grandma didn't have a father, he died just before the 2nd world war ended in 1945. So maybe it's not being 25 or 18 or 16, but the environment? adapting to what one has to do?

I wonder why we haven't seen fully AI created companies yet. Especially SaaS with Email being customer feedback should be able to fully run on a stack of AI developers implementing features, AI code reviewers, approving/rejecting and looping the engineers until it matches. PM's requesting new features, doing market research and doing customer support. All that data feeding into the models and priorities to drive revenue and customer happiness. I'd bet we're at the inflection point 2026 where these are doable.
