She once danced in golden light,
A child so free, so pure, so bright.
But burdens heavy, shadows deep,
Stole the laughter she could keep.
No longer does her spirit soar,
A silent choice—she smiles no more.
Once a droplet, soft and true,
Now an ocean, lost from view.
Hidden deep beneath the ground,
Echoes whisper, yet make no sound.
She was light, she was divine—
Now the waves no longer shine.
