kicking myself today. played links at union vale yesterday, maybe last round of the year. +5 on the front, birdied 10. fell apart with 4 straight triples. shot 92, 41/51. had it all working and then compounded errors.

got green undulations matching! onchain is a perlin noise algo that i sample for cells and calculate a vector for break arrows. in game i fetch perlin values for the same or higher resolution grid and lerp between them. shout out @fiveoutofnine.eth for the perlin post, ironically for a golf project of a different sort

ok this feels like its legitimately getting cool and fun. solidity algo creates a neat par 4, hiding a bunker behind a hill and forcing a hero carry around a tree. camera and physics feel close, ball rolls nicely on green. gotta figure out putting speeds / distance ux
