Before the Tinubu's administration, only the Vehicle Licence and Insurance required annual renewal.
It's puzzling why Certificate of Roadworthiness (CMR) and Proof of Ownership are now being renewed yearly.
The CMR functions as a database entry—it should be a one-time process to register a vehicle’s details, not something that needs annual duplication.
Similarly, the Proof of Ownership is essentially a receipt confirming purchase. Why should anyone have to renew a receipt every year?
We are under a leader who prioritize personal gain over public good.
