Saturday, jan 10 one of the many crimes committed by the terrorist forces of the Islamic regime of Iran About 150 of us had gathered on a street in eastern Tehran. We hadn’t even started chanting yet. Families were present among the crowd. No one was carrying any cold weapons or firearms. Five minutes after we gathered: several tear gas canisters were fired. Two minutes later: six stun grenades were launched. One minute after that: direct fire with military weapons and live ammunition from both sides toward the crowd. While running and trying to escape, people beside me and in front of me were falling to the ground after being shot. Between 20 and 30 people were killed in just a few minutes, in only one of hundreds of gatherings that night in Tehran. I feel ashamed for being alive.

10 days of internet shutdown. 10 days of brutal killings and arrests. Over 20,000 people killed by the murderous Islamic regime of Iran. What I saw and what happened to me during this time, I will never forget. I feel anger, hatred, and a desire for revenge. I feel a sense of guilt for surviving
