Lately I’ve been checking out perp DEX alternatives to Hyperliquid. A few names keep popping up:
⚡ Lighter – CLOB engine, zero fees for retail, LLP vaults, backed by a16z/Dragonfly.
🌐 Aster, EdgeX, Ostium – all trying different approaches (BNB chain, RWA perps, new fee models).
What I’m watching for 👇
• Liquidity depth, especially on alts
• Whether “points/airdrops” = sustainable volume
• Security & audits
Hyperliquid is still king, but I’m curious which of these could be next in line.
