building changed my life today zygote turns one year old i still remember that exciting day: public launch of my first (and now main) onchain project we spent a week testing everything in testnet to make the mint go smoothly in the end the launch was perfect every NFT degen on @base.base.eth knew about zygote floor quickly hit 0.03-0.04 eth (30-40x from public price) then came the first challenges interest faded, lost our twitter account, price dumped, team conflicts it was useful i gained a ton of experience since then a lot has changed, including my approach to building zygote repeatedly hit top NFT charts on @base.base.eth we ran tons of giveaways, collabs, raids but that's not enough NFTs is deep in the gutter, few need low-liquidity PFP jpegs that's why i timely shifted focus to long-term value and structural reasons we created based_room, steadily generating revenue for over 7 months with part of the value going to zygote holders we're also actively developing incentives in UNDERLAB soon zygote holders will get major privileges there too sooner or later we'll ship a new product guess who benefits? exactly i'm fair and obsessed with this game it shows in the diamond hands in the zygote community recently one of our OG's (also top-10 holder) told me he had to sell everything and exit crypto this summer the only bag he didn't touch — his zygotes words like that warm my soul i value it deeply same for everyone else who stays and supports happy to walk this path together even happier if i keep earning that trust 💚

i’ve bought back zygote worth over 0.9 eth in total pods are still cheap, but maybe that’s fair for now if people value them this way zygote is less than a year old. i’ve tried different approaches and realized the path of a typical PFP collection isn’t for us no one cares about your jpegs on the half-dead NFT market if there’s no product behind them my product is the community. we integrate token-gating mechanics with zygote inside our private chats the members include professionals from various fields with solid capital and yes, i want to make money too. that’s why i’ve built a small stable income for myself. for the same reason, i keep learning, automating processes, and expanding the only way is higher
