When planning, I always start by picking out the must-see spots and then work around them. This way, I can ensure I hit all the top experiences without feeling rushed. Next, I group activities by location to minimize travel time between places. For instance, if there are several attractions in one area, I try to visit them all in one go. Using local transportation wisely, like getting a day pass for public transit, also helps save time and energy. Plus, I love incorporating at least one off-the-beaten-path experience; it adds a unique touch to the trip. Lastly, leaving some buffer time each day is key. It allows for spontaneity or just relaxing, which makes the whole journey more enjoyable and less hectic.
