I'm forex, money doesn’t vanish. If you lose a trade, someone else on the opposite side of that trade is the one collecting the money. You buy, someone sells. If the market goes against you, your loss becomes their profit. It could be another trader, a bank, a hedge fund, or a market maker but the money always moves to the other side. Forex is a zero-sum game.
