Whatโ€™s the predominant view over here on whether the U.S. should help Israel bomb Iran?

My view is that the U.S. *already* has helped Israel bomb Iran. The U.S. should *not* assist Israel in any way, certainly not militarily. I've posted a lot on Iran-Israel over the past week, from a stance of condemning Israel's attack and U.S. complicity, affirming Iran's right to equal treatment under the international rules-based order, and highlighting Iranian civilian casualties and other impacts on Iran. I've also posted from a personal standpoint as a native-born U.S. citizen with Iranian relatives (through my wife) and as an atheist of Jewish heritage. I've overwhelmingly received responses of support and solidarity.

Absolutely no bombing of Iran. But, watch Trump closely. If this 2 week delay holds, then that means Trump is pressurising Netanyahu to back down. Bibi will have a tough time surviving politically at home.

not sure what the predominant view is. but mine is that kinetic conflicts lose out to dispersion of information. regime changes fail to reverse what people use to justify them in the first place. but we're still subject to decisions insulated from economic blowback.

Do you mean help more than paying for it and supplying bombs and intel?

1. We do what Netanyahu wants in the US of Israel 2. Itโ€™s not in our interests, as Americans 3. Itโ€™s not in our interests as Christians (unless youre hyper focusing on Old Testament) 4. The money would be better spent on student loan forgiveness

I think it's a ridiculous question because the US is already helping Israel bomb Iran and several other countries and commit genocide, but anyway no they should not. Somehow the world will eventually come to a point where Israel and the US aren't above international law.

Anecdotally, I feel Iโ€™ve seen many more casters against it than for it. But I did talk to at least one person who felt it would be justified ๐Ÿซ
