My journey as a visually impaired artist has been quite an adventure really. I always want to try new things it’s why Blind Chronicles was created because I wanted to show the different mediums I try and experiment with. In hopes it inspires other artists with disabilities and impairments. I’ve dabbled in many different mediums and I’m trying some more this time with pottery and clay figurines. I’m no expert but I’m having fun and you never know when the light will disappear. Glaucoma can take your vision overnight. Always experiment and try new things.

Last year during a rough season divorced, unemployed, waiting on EI I was building NFTs for a Base project. When I needed to cash out some tokens to survive, I was removed from the group and the NFTs were pulled. Recently I saw they even made a disrespectful song about me. That experience left a bad taste. Crypto should celebrate people winning. If someone profits, the system worked. After that, I pulled everything out and invested in myself self-published kids books, bought art supplies, built something real. Best decision I made. If we want mass adoption, culture has to change. Should projects celebrate wins instead of shaming profit? @jesse.base.eth
