Farcaster is acquired by Neynar. What it means for Faircaster?
For Faircaster, this changes nothing technically. We already run on Neynar API under the hood. If anything, this consolidation makes things more stable
We also have been working for some time to expand our reach beyond the Farcaster ecosystem. Respecting the roots, but ready for expansion
So either way, we continue to build, scale, try new things and play $fair
The big thing for me: Farcaster isn't being handed off to outsiders. It's staying inside the ecosystem, with a team that gets the builders, the product grind, the real constraints.
This feels like a reset in the best way. New momentum, sharper focus, a tighter narrative
I still believe Farcaster is the best bet for decentralized social to actually work. Open rails win long-term. Growth is slow, adoption is brutal, but the upside of open social infrastructure is massive
I believe in people, in builders, in the ecosystem. Pretty sure we'll hear more good news soon
Meanwhile, X API integration in Faircaster's discovery capabilities is loading
More reach, more ecosystems, more signals. Bigger community.
We are just getting started
