You're saying you're open to dialogue but it reads as if you're trying to find reasons to stop dialogue rather than find points of connection.
For example, I too thought Hamas was all bad. Then I considered how living in a militarily enclosed fragment of your country for generations would begin to impact a group of people. Then I realised that resistance movements are the logical next steps.
If you take away the military occupation of Palestine, you take away the need for resistance fighters, thus rid of Hamas. We instead have a Palestine run by sovereign Palestinians. So you get what you want - no more Hamas - but you get it by not recoiling at their mention, but rather by leaning in and listening to what's being said UNDERNEATH the outrage.
But it takes courage to have open dialogue with people you disagree with. Because if you listen to their points, then you might find out you're wrong. And that sucks.
