Even when you use the temporary chat feature, the o3 model will still have access to old conversations and use those when answering…

“I have just given to England a maritime rival that sooner or later will humble her pride." - Napoleon Bonaparte — after the sale of Louisiana to the United States right before another war breaks out between France and England. 128 years later it allowed the British to keep fighting.

In the past, one used to describe the appearance of famous people in detail. Something unimaginable nowadays. For one, you can easily see for yourself through photographs. And two, it‘s now regarded as distasteful to judge someone’s appearance. Shows how important your looks are when it comes to public perception.

Even with VCs subsidizing the costs, the cutting edge models are still very expensive. 35€ a month is a lot of money for your average person outside North America. We’re simply waiting for hardware to get better and cheaper for this to be fixed, right?

I would say the issue is rather whether one even tries to look for something to love

In war, the decisions of individual soldiers make all the difference. After a successful attack on Pearl Harbor and invasion of south east Asia, the Japanese navy felt invincible. Yamamoto wanted to invade Midway to force a glorious naval battle with the Americans for supremacy in the pacific just 6 months after Pearl Harbor. Even tho he faced backlash from other military leaders, he forced their hand by threatening his resignation. In that battle they lose 4 carriers marking the beginning of the end. Reading The Rising Sun by John Toland (highly recommend)

Out of all the shrines/temples I think I liked Heian Jingu the most. The garden was beautiful. Though this picture is from Tenryu-Ji https://zora.co/coin/base:0xcf631888307ba809b0e7437173a14079c0edeedf?referrer=0x748f23e419bbdd09740e300a261870e8eaf9a909

Somewhere in the mountains of Hakone, I'm sitting on the balcony at a ryokan. You can hear the rain drizzle on the roof and the cicadas chirp in the distance. The most peaceful I've felt in a long time.
