OpenClaw gives agents like access to your machine/life (shell commands, files, accounts, crypto). When things go wrong via malware skills, bugs, injections, or bad setup the damage is fast and severe: lost funds, stolen data, infected systems. Many experts call it a "security nightmare" or "new risk category" because agents act autonomously at machine speed.
If you're using it (especially with Base/crypto), isolate it in a VM/Docker, audit every skill, never give wallet access, and update religiously. Safer alternatives exist for lighter agent use.
