Every day, we wear masks.
Some to protect ourselves,
some to hide our pain,
and some to show the world
what it expects to see.
Behind our smiles, there may be silent battles. Behind our strength, unspoken fears. And behind our calm, a storm
waiting to be heard.
We wear masks not because we are false, but because the world is not always ready to see us as we truly are.
Yet the soul longs for spaces
where masks are no longer needed,
where hearts can be open and where truth can finally breathe.
