37.rocks is online! with 37 i'm trying to explore a new medium / new ground for Farcaster, our beloved decentralized social platform. i took inspiration from @v's article "Sufficient Decentralization for Social Networks", especially this part: "The idea maze of things you can do with decentralized identities, blockchains and zk-proofs is large, weird and interesting enough that there are probably many primitives waiting to be discovered. Decentralized social networks should explore this as a way to attract users." this is exactly the direction i want to take. with 37, i'm trying to explore the social network as a filesystem. kinda like Obsidian, but in a broader and weirder way. throw away social MEDIA. let's bring back the feeling of social spaces. 37 is an operating system, a social one. you can save people you often read as icons on your desktop, arrange your space however you want, save casts, create folders, use them as bookmarks, maps, collections, whatever. this is the direction i'm aiming for: a social filesystem, kinda. i have many ideas i was thinking about during development, and i'm keeping them in my pocket for later. i'll polish this space gradually, because i'm literally the first user. i'll also start moving and upgrading Pet Rock Life there over time, although there are no embedded wallets or miniapps in 37 yet. the main energy is coziness, true connections, and being anti-corpo. it's an indie project.

37.rocks is back! i casted a little heads-up a few hours ago, so if you were using it, you probably know it was broken for a while. everything is alright now. we're back and upgraded!
