Farcaster may feel quiet right now, but that does not mean the network is doomed. Instead, we need to cultivate this place and bring in more diverse authors. Farcaster has qualities usually found only in hidden niche forums, yet we are speaking publicly, open to the world. And I believe we can step up together and establish a new etiquette for social interaction on the Internet.
I have a thesis for Auteur Network that differs from previous attempts to build attention markets.
1. $ZORA added bonding curves to memories and cultural objects, backed by money bags with no clear social purpose.
2. $DEGEN was about tipping money to your friends.
3. $noice made tipping as simple as liking.
These were simple yet powerful primitives. Auteur Network pushes it further.
