Dear Villagers!
the current state of the game is kinda reached its limits speaking technically. it was our proof of concept. it's the place where you shaped what this became. but the next step needs more than a web app
games are heavy and complex, everyone already knows it. i've already seen a lot of problems related to freezes, glitches, phones overheating and crashes. that's a no-go for me and for all of us. and we need to upgrade. we need something solid. something that feels more hardware, closer to actual games. the ability to touch the world, maybe even download it -> that is precious. PRL needs to evolve
so i decided -> i've started building a native version of PRL for better performance, scale and stability. the game should handle crazy parties and not freeze at 20 players max
^ this also means a shift in art direction -> toward something more authentic
our world can't fit inside a browser window. and this doesn't mean that the web version won't be updated or maintained. it stays as a portal and an entrance to the greater worlds
^ if you're a $ROCK holder -> this is not a pivot and the token is always the heart of the game economy. we're pretty early considering the usual games evolution process and i won't fake utility just for hype or chasing trends. i already have a few meaningful token sinks in my mind, but for any real game -> execution is a priority. players and the actual gameplay first, always. this aligns with my vision
PRL is going higher
