I've never been fond of the term altruism. Not because I disagree with the idea, but because the word itself carries a sense of self-sacrifice, and that's not how I experience helping others. I love helping whenever I can, and it never feels like I'm giving anything up. Quite the opposite. I do it from a place of abundance and it leaves me feeling even more fulfilled. So my philosophy is simple: either help wholeheartedly because you genuinely want to or don't help at all.
