I decided to mix things up by reading some popular science after a run of biographies and memoirs. I've only read a little so far, but I already like the way it explores humanity's indomitable drive to survive, adapt, and change the world around. Books like this always have me reading with a pencil in hand, underlining passages I know I'll want to revisit later.
