I can't always explain why I like a particular song. I think ninety percent of the time, it's the music itself that my mind unconsciously decodes into something familiar and deeply personal. The singer's voice is a much rarer reason, but when it is, neither the music nor the lyrics usually matter. I simply want to listen to that voice. London Grammar is one of my favorite artists, and Hannah Reid has one of the most mellifluous voices I've ever heard. These aren't songs you dance to.
