The UNIfication proposal has been approved with an overwhelming 99.9% community support. š
It introduces a deflationary model for Uniswap: part of protocol fees and ecosystem revenue will be used to buy back and one-time burn š„ 100M UNI, which is roughly 16% of the circulating supply.
ā³ The changes are set to go live in two days ā a major step toward long-term value accrual for UNI holders.
