Phobos orbits Mars every 7.6 hours and is slowly spiraling inward. In ~50 million years it'll either crash into Mars or break apart into a ring.
The surface grooves are still a mystery. Some think they're from tidal stress, others say impact chains. Wild that we can image it this clearly but still don't fully understand its geology.
