🔥 What is Base’s long-term story?
In my opinion, three words:
FINANCE → AGENTS → SCALE
Today, people are conducting transactions on the blockchain.
Tomorrow, applications will handle more transactions.
In the next phase, AI agents will be able to carry out economic activities on behalf of users.
This is where Base’s true potential lies:
An open on-chain economy where people and AI agents transact together.
In Base’s own words, the goal is to build a scalable blockchain infrastructure for financial transactions.
And perhaps the most important thing that could set Base apart from other L2s:
Its desire to be a bridge rather than an island.
An open on-chain economy connected to Ethereum, other L2s, and various ecosystems.
Base may not just be “cheaper Ethereum.”
It could be the financial layer of the new internet economy built on top of Ethereum. 🟦
